Kanglian Zhao is a Professor in the Department of Communications Engineering, School of Electronic Science and Engineering and Deputy Director of the Institute of Space-Terrestrial Intelligent Networks, Nanjing University. He received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degree both from Nanjing University. He was with K.U. Leuven and IMEC as an International Scholar from Aug. 2009 to Aug. 2010. His current research interests include network architectures and protocols for space internetworking and satellite-terrestrial integrated networks. He has published more than 100 research papers in prestigious journals and conferences. He is currently an Associate Editor of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine. He is also a member of Subcommittee on Space Data and Information Transfer of National Technical Committee on Space Technology and Operation, Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC425/SC3).
Dr. Suzhi Cao is a Professor at the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Her research spans satellite networks, next-generation information architectures, intelligent computing networks, and edge intelligence. She has led multiple national key projects addressing strategic needs in space-terrestrial integrated networks, cislunar communications, cloud-edge-end collaboration, and AI-driven computing for large models.
Dr. Cao has published a number of high-impact papers in the field of space information networks and deep-space communications. She has undertaken multiple national research programs and led several major engineering tasks. With her deep expertise in deep-space networking, she is dedicated to advancing the innovation and application of network architectures for future space missions.
Changgang Zheng is a researcher at ISSE. He received his DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford, where he also worked as a postdoctoral researcher. He was also a visiting research assistant at Yale University. His research focuses on space networks, data center networks, and intelligent computing networks, with experience in in-network machine learning. He has published in leading venues such as ACM SIGCOMM Computer Communication Review (CCR), USENIX Symposium on Networked Systems Design and Implementation (NSDI), IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (ToN), and ACM Conference on Emerging Networking Experiment and Technologies (CoNEXT). His work has received multiple recognitions, including the IEEE HPSR 2025 Best Paper Award, ACM SIGCOMM 2024 Best of CCR, the Prototypes for Humanity Award 2024, the Springer SoSyM Journal-First Award, and the Jesus College Graduate Scholarship.
Associate Professor at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He received his Ph.D. degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His research focuses on space-ground integrated quantum networks. He has published over 50 papers and 4 books/book chapters, held 15 granted patents, and received the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the China Institute of Communications (2025) and the Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions (2021). He has served as Track Chair for IEEE ICC’24 and IEEE FNWF’23, and as a TPC member for IEEE Globecom’24/25/26, IEEE ICC’26, OFC’26/27, etc.
Dr. Ziye Jia received the B.E., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in communication and information systems from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2012, 2015, and 2021, respectively. From 2018 to 2020, she was a Visiting Ph.D. Student with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Houston. She is currently an Associate Professor with the Key Laboratory of Dynamic Cognitive System of Electromagnetic Spectrum Space, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China. Her current research interests include space-air-ground networks, aerial access networks, UAV networking, resource optimization and machine learning. She has published more than 70 scientific articles in leading journals and international conferences. She obtained the Best Paper Award of FCN 2025 and EAI CHINACOM 2025. She is currently an Associate Editor of the IEEE Internet of Things Journal. She was the Exemplary reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing and IEEE Communications Letters. She served as the TPC for IEEE GLOBECOM 2025/2024/2023,IEEE WCNC 2025/2024, IEEE WCSP 2025, etc.
